One journey. Three defining chapters.

  • 1989 → 1991

In 1989, I started working for my family's textile company, and in 1991, I joined my older brothers as a founding director of Royal Classic Mills (P) Ltd.

  • Today

I am currently the Managing Director of the Royal Classic Group (RCG), a business that employs over 6,000 people directly and has grown to a turnover of about ₹700 crore annually. Knitwear clothing is presently exported by RCG to major markets in America and Europe.

  • Beyond

I've given speeches at many forums and interviews throughout the years, inspiring young people to realize their aspirations because I think India can and should be a much better place to live and prosper.

Purpose, values and business vision

Profit and purpose can grow from the same root.

Beyond business, I hold a corporate social responsibility to contribute my best to society.

For Sivaram, growth was never meant to stop at the factory gate. Building an enterprise that respects its workers, its environment, and its hometown is the same principle that led him to found an NGO in service of that hometown — proof that profit and purpose can grow from the same root.

I have had the opportunity to learn, build and grow through business. I believe that opportunity becomes meaningful when it is shared.

Whether it is creating greener spaces, supporting education or encouraging young people to dream bigger, my aim is simple: to leave behind something that continues to create value long after I am gone.

Impact is where belief becomes action.

Environment, education and enterprise — three continuing chapters of the same responsibility.

Social Impact — VETRY

As Founder President of VETRY, Sivaram channels my commitment to the environment back into the town that built Me — Tirupur.

Key initiatives:

  • VETRY was established in 2000 with a vision to create meaningful environmental and social change in Tiruppur.
  • In 2015, Vanathukkul Tiruppur began as a tree-planting initiative inspired by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam’s vision for a greener India.
  • The initiative has grown into a movement, with more than 25 lakh trees planted across Tiruppur District.
  • VETRY has undertaken initiatives to restore lakes, strengthen water systems and improve water availability for communities and agriculture.

Empowering Education

As Mentor at Iduvampalayam Government Higher Secondary School, under the Tamil Nadu Government's Department of School Education, I work directly with students — bringing my own journey, from a family textile business to leading a ₹700-crore group, into classrooms as a lived example of what ambition paired with discipline can achieve.

I regularly speak at interviews and forums aimed at motivating young people, encouraging them to see education and enterprise not as separate paths, but as two halves of the same opportunity to shape a better India.

People. Purpose. Progress.

Success is also measured by what continues after us.

From a family textile business to building a global-facing enterprise, and from business leadership to environmental initiatives, education and mentorship, my journey has always been about creating something that reaches beyond myself.

I believe success is not measured only by what we build, but also by the opportunities we create, the people we empower and the environment we leave behind.

That is the journey I continue to pursue.
